Meetings.
We are off winter recess and the next meeting will be Tuesday May 5, 2026 at the Gateway Diner 7:00 PM . Menu. The FastCat and match evens will dominate the evenings discussions. Other topics will include the point show and an update on legislation issues.
Match.
This 2026 match will be held in conjunction with our FastCat event held on Mother’s Day weekend. Thanks be to Calley who will be match chair and does so much for the club. Handling Classes.
Handling classes are suspended until further notice. We are concerned over the bird flu issue. We know this may disappoint some, but better safe than sorry.

Join us for Fast CAT on Mother’s Day weekend, May 9–10, 2026, at the Altamont Fairgrounds. We’re hoping for great weather and another successful weekend of fun.
A special thank-you to Kirsten for putting this event together. It was beautifully run last year, and Kirsten and the committee deserve recognition for their outstanding work.
Point Shows.
Last year’s shows were held in West Springfield, Mass. at the Eastern States Exposition grounds in the Better Living Center. Albany show dates were October 17 and 18, 2025. Troy Kennel Club show was on the following day. Access to results can be found below. This year the dates will be October 16 and 17 for Albany and the 18th for Troy KC.
