Meetings.
We are in our winter recess for the months of January and February. The next meeting will be Tuesday March 3, 2026 at the Gateway Diner 7:00 PM . Menu. Discussion topics will include the point show, the FastCat event, and the match.
Match.
This 2026 match likely will be held in conjunction with our FastCat event held on Mother’s Day weekend. Thanks be to Calley who will be match chair and does so much for the club. If you would like to judge or otherwise help out at the match, please let her know. ruppcalley@gmail.com
Handling Classes.
Handling classes are suspended until further notice. We are concerned over the bird flu issue. We know this may disappoint some, but better safe than sorry.
FastCat.
The FastCat was held on mother’s day weekend. It was originally to be held at the Altamont Fairgrounds but the grounds there were too muddy because of heavy rains. After a ton of arrangement, the event was moved to the Hessian Hill Farm, Treadlemire Road, Schoharie, NY, 12157. We are going to try again at the same place. Hopefully the weather will accommodate.
Many thanks to Kirsten for putting all this together. It’s a fun event and it went off beautifully. Kirsten and the committee are to be congratulated.
Point Shows.
This year’s shows were held in West Springfield, Mass. at the Eastern States Exposition grounds in the Better Living Center. Albany show dates were October 17 and 18, 2025. Troy Kennel Club show was on the following day. Access to results can be found below. Next year the dates will be October 16 and 17 for Albany and the 18th for Troy KC.
